About Harold’s Sketchbook Blog
Harold Graves is a painter and printmaker who has kept an ongoing “Sketchbook-Journal” since 1982. In addition to his work with painting and drawing, he works with collaged and painted sketchbook-diaries which he refers to collectively as Enigromatica; he has received an award from the New York Foundation for the Arts for this work with Artist’s Books. Harold has an MFA degree in painting and printmaking from the University of Iowa. He lives in Brooklyn, New York. This Sketchbook-blog is part of an ongoing work-in-progress.
